We recently visited the #1 best hotel in the US from Conde Nast Traveler’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards, the Sagamore Pendry Baltimore. It is a contemporary hotel located on the Recreation Pier in the Fell’s Point neighborhood near Baltimore’s famous Inner Harbor. 

The Recreation Pier was built in 1914 as a commercial pier with recreational facilities. Over the years it has been used for different functions including a landing point for thousands of new immigrants who arrived in American for the first time across the river at Locust Point.

The outdoor swimming pool provides views of the Inner Harbor and is perfect for a relaxing stay. Additionally, you can enjoy the outdoor bar and grill (open seasonally) as well as 5 private cabanas.
The Cannon Room is an American whiskey bar. It is called the Cannon Room because of the cannons that were found underneath the Recreation Pier during the renovation.
The Rec Pier Chop House is an Italian restaurant by Chef Andrew Carmellini.
